Welcome to my school web site! My name is Mrs. Rebecca Driedger (pronounced DREE-ger). I am originally from ND, although I lived in Lincoln, NE for 6 years before moving to SD.
I attended the University of North Dakota for my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I have a degree in Elementary Education & minor in Special Education. My Master’s is in Elementary with a concentration in Reading. I have taught in 3 states, working with children in preschool, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. Yes, I think change is a good thing!
My husband and I have two beautiful children. Our family enjoys a variety of activities, especially in the summer months when we can get outside more often. We recently moved into an older home & enjoy little projects to make it our own. We like to take our dog on walks, read books, and travel to expand our horizons.
I love creating art projects, reading novels, and learning about languages & cultures. Coffee gets me going every morning, and children keep me laughing & on my toes all day. A day should never go by without some good laughs!
Some of my random favorites are: coffee, Pinterest, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Mercer Mayer, autumn, Advent, colored pens, dark chocolate, Target, CostPlus World Market, the Hail Mary prayer, & going to bed early.
